Hi, I'm Jeanie Madsen and welcome to my online world. I am a Stylist, an Activist, an Art Director, a Curator, and a Fashion Designer for 3 distinctive clothing lines: Jeanie Madsen Design, SewJeannie and most recently, Jeanie Madsen Sport.
I like to refer to my style as Boho Chic “Wearable Art”. My creations utilize techniques such as deconstruction, reconstruction, hand dyes, hand paints, pattern creation, cutting and sewing then culminates with a customized hand-signing of every piece.
Wearable Art is my own way of creating expressive designs that are each works of art themselves and only available as originals or unique limited editions. I am an Artist Fashion Designer.
Being a one-woman show for 15 years, designing one-of-a-kinds and limited editions was a career path full of many ups and downs but I have NO REGRETS living the month-to-month life in order to stay true to my passion. I have always “marched to my own beat” and have never followed the status quo -- “You really get to know who you are, what you really want and what you are made of when you go through struggles.”
I have always been interested in doing what I love with all my passion and being with peeps I love. Now I am able to do that and feel so blessed. I want to now share my visions and my designs with the whole world.
